Food for your Valentine

It’s always fun trying to come up with new ways of telling that special someone in your life just how much, they mean to you on Valentine’s Day.

There’s a lot of pressure to make those special moments both romantic and memorable.

If you’ve got the cash to splash, you could shower them with lavish gifts and exotic holidays. Alternatively you could surprise your loved one and treat them to some foods that will do the talking for you.

Cookie Monster

Millie’s Cookies have cooked up a treat with a giant 12 inch heart shaped cookie. You have twenty characters to write any message you want for that special Valentine in your life.

You can either pop into your local store, where it will take just two hours to create your cookie, or you can call ahead and place your order over the phone.

Sweets for my Sweet

Should your Valentine have a sweet tooth, why not treat them to sweets from the retro online sweetshop 'A Quarter Of'.  They offer a variety of different love themed sweets including: love hearts, jelly bean hearts, cherry lips and chocolate hearts, all of which are sold by the quarter (250gm).

For the ultimate sweet treat I’d recommend getting the Wooden Boxes of Romance. Available in three sizes (small, medium and large), they contain a whole variety of delicious love themed sweets. The boxes are priced at £18.36, £23.98 and £32.47 respectively.

With so much choice available, you’ll be like a kid in a virtual candy store.

Table for Two at Tibits

If you’re planning on enjoying a romantic meal, then I suggest that you head to Tibits, a vegetarian restaurant tucked away in a little road just off Regent Street.  While you enjoy a romantic meal for two you will be served with a bottle of Prosecco, followed by dessert and coffee.  They offer forty dishes from their food boat, so there’s plenty of variety on offer.

Tibits are taking bookings for dinner on Friday 12th February, Saturday 13th February, and Sunday 14th February. Just call the restaurant on 0207 758 4110 to reserve your romantic table for two which is priced at just £50 per couple (£25 per head).
